The record breaking internet radio station the Hot Jazz channel is
celebrating it's first birthday with a new eighty-nine minute show in which
a majority of the tracks being aired are from new releases.

The show is "live" now at www.radiojazz.co.uk

Among the artists and bands featuring this month are Leon Prima's All Star
Dixieland Band, The Clusky Hopkins Band (alias the Guinness Jazz Band), Jim
Robinson with Yoshio & Keiko Toyama, The Wally Fawkes - Stan Greig Jazz
Jurassics, The Pendle Jazzmen, Bennie Moten's Kansas City Orchestra with
Count Basie and Jimmy Rushing, the Albert 'Papa' French New Orleans Jazz
Band, Steve Lane's Famous Red Hot Peppers, George Lewis' New Orleans
Stompers, The Acker Bilk - Cuff Billett Vintage Five, Butch Thompson, Cell
Block 7, Big Bill Bissonnette & the Easy Riders Jazz Band, Geoff Power's
Band, Dr. Michael White and Gregg Stafford, the Grand Dominion Jazz Band and
Paul Barbarin's Onward Brass Band recorded live in concert.

In addition to the music the Hot Jazz Channel web site uniquely features
written reviews of all the CDs from which tracks are being broadcast, and
the site also has an archive in which both previous month's reviews and
programmes remain available for some months after their initial publication.

Since we started this station just about 12 months ago we have had over
447,000 listeners.
