In case some of you do not know, Earl McKee, sousaphonist for the High 
Sierra JB has had a 6-way bypass.

Below is a note from Pieter Meijers.

 I spoke to Earl today.  He is doing very well and is walking, eating and 
drinking.
He is relatively free of pain. except when coughing and laughing.  He 
expects to
go home "in a couple of days."  His doctor informed him that his recovery 
time will
be approximately 6 weeks with no lifting of anything heavier than 5 lbs (and 
that
includes sousaphones!).
