Geez,

All this negative talk about kids and their music. For the positive approach
to the historical music see:

This pictures were taken by a swing dancer at the University of Pennsylvania
"Fish Fry" swing dance last Saturday night, April 15. Music by Barbone
Street and if you look closely at the first photo, your truly is in the blue
shirt and white pants, sitting on my bar stool.

You can also read some of the hype about the dance at:

eet

Keep the faith folks, these kids love OKOM and bring in 10 live OKOM bands a
year including the Boilermakers, Midiri Bros, Brooks Tegler Hot Jazz Band
and many more.

BTW, most of the local Universities have swing dance clubs as a University
Sponsored Activity which means there is a budget available. You can have
tons of fun oogling the dancers and get paid well for it. And oh yes, the
love dancing to vintage tunes from Fidgety Feet to Sweet Georgia Brown.

Cheers,
Steve (ever the optimist) Barbone
