Since the TEAC unit looks just like those units sold everywhere with the
standard CD player and a cassette deck, I am not sure why that is not
included in these units. No model number given. Heartland America deals
primarily in factor serviced items or ones with slight blemishes in the
cases, but has some good prices. This unit looks to be the same as the
ones mentioned previously for the stand alone unit. 3 speed record
player, AM/FM tuner, stereo speakers, headphone jack, record level
control remote control etc.

The price at www.heartlandamerica.com for item D5-40014 is currently
$329.99 plus postage, but chances are they might sell it for less later
if you get their catalog. If you join their discount club, for a price
of course, you get 10% off on all items. On this item you would probably
break even. All other purchases then 10% off. They say limited
quantities. Some items last for months. Take your chances.

This price is between the price Kay paid and the one I posted earlier.
They will send to post office boxes if pressured. Reject all other
offers the phone reps make. :-) 1-800-229-2901 Return within 30 days
for most items for a complete refund. Service charges if later then 30 days.

If you also want to archive your old VHS music videos, like the Turk
concert, to DVD, their current price on an Emerson combination DVD and
VCR RECORDER (for both) is now $149.99. plus postage. It plays MP3 file
disks of course. Record up to 10 hrs on a DVD. Stereo sound.
Input/output jacks on front and rear. No messing with separate units and
cables. Side by side mounting.

Lowell aka Mad Dawg (sales?) My motto. "I never met a bargain I could
resist."
