Joe Hopkins and the 52nd Street Jazz  Band will be at "Chances Are"  
(Scottsdale)  this Sunday (Easter) from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.
 
The Joe Hopkins Jazz Combo will  continue to appear every Sunday after Easter 
at Chances Are and  will be at the American Legion (public welcome) in 
Scottsdale  on Saturday, April 15 and April 22 from 6:00 to 9:00.  
 
By the way, LJ's Pizza has become the  Mesa hot spot for dixieland jam 
sessions every Wed. from 4:30 to 7:30.  Cheryl Thurston and friends play there every 
week and it  is a blast. For example, this week we had piano, cornet, 
clarinet, soprano sax,  tuba, guitar, drums, violin, and bass. 
 
LJ's is on Main Street about 2 blocks west of Stapley on  the north side of 
the street.
