Sorry to be posting about this again, however the venue has been changed.

We will NOT be in the Arch Building. We WILL be in Houston Hall in Bodek
Lounge. The good news is that it is larger, better ventilated and a really
great space to hold the dance. Here is their note on it:

>UPtown Swing is proud to present a very special Fish Fry on April 15th.
>Not only will you be dancing to the authentic sounds of original jazz
>musicians in the Barbone Street Band (a favorite of Philly swing dancers
>for years), but you will also be treated to a swing dance competition
>during the first band break! This competition is a fundraiser for the
>Philly Lindy Exchange, so we hope that everyone will get involved and have
>fun showing the community what they've got. More information (time,
>location, contest) is below, and more details (driving directions, etc)
>are on our website: http://www.uptownswing.org

Once again, $10 admission general public and $5 for UP Students. They tell
us we have a large crowd coming including older folks as well as students.

Houston Hall, 3417 Spruce Street, Philadelphia. As you go West on South
Street from the Schuylkill River, it becomes Spruce after one long block and
across 33 St. Then cross 34, (short block) and see Houston Hall which is the
2nd building on the right. Parking along the street.

Lessons from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. Dance from 8:30 to 11:30. The Philly Lindy
Exchange, beneficiary of the Lindy Contest, is sponsoring a National Lindy
Exchange June 2, 3, 4, folks coming from all over the country. We open that
program on June 2.

Cheers,
Steve Barbone
