Used by bands such as George Lewis' during the N.O. revival in the 1940's
50's. Usually spoken at the end of the slow chorus' of "Just A Closer Walk
With Thee" just before the band doubled the tempo. When they were discussing
the traditional New Orleans Funeral. Slow dirge tempo to the cemetery, up
tempo happy music, 2nd line followers, back to the house of the decedent,
etc. 

Many of the NYC bands adapted it for use 50 years ago as it became an
integral part of the show.
