22 September 2005 - Clevedon Jazz Club

It just keeps getting better at Clevedon Jazz Club's regular Walton Park Hotel venue. And why? Well Keith Little's Hot Six are back to entertain the Club audience on Thursday 22 September.

They have played for the Clevedon Jazz Club audience for the last two years and the audience clamoured for their early return on both occasions. 

Although only formed in 1998, when leader and pianist Keith Little returned from Germany where he worked with the Munich based Allotria Jazz Band and freelanced, guesting with touring American musicians, the band has made it's mark on both the UK jazz scene and abroad. Their list of festival bookings in that time includes Sacramento (USA), Nantes (France), Brecon, Bude, Upton and Keswick, and they have toured extensively in the UK and overseas.

Helping Keith to produce their hard hitting and exciting music on stage are Laurence Davis on trumpet, Martin Butterworth on reeds, Peter Lock on trombone, Wayne Warlow on bass and Mike Pincome at the drums. The bands range of jazz styles has had a great deal of influence on their success. All the musicians have been hand-picked by Keith, each one for their professionalism and range of experience.

The doors at Clevedon Jazz Club's Walton Park Hotel venue open at 8pm, the music starts at 8.30pm and its £7 'on the door'.
