I trust all the Tennis buffs on the DJML who are watching the U.S. Open from
Corona Queens, have noticed something.

Namely that ALL the references to one of the two main stadiums at "Flushing
Meadows" (really Corona a couple of blocks from Armstrong's house) on the
old World's Fair Grounds by the TV Broadcasters are clear and distinct in
pronunciation.

Direct from "LEWIS" Armstrong Stadium.

Yeah, yeah, I know, that doesn't make it right . . . Course not, those TV
commentators are known for shoddy research on pronunciations. ;-) VBG

Why they even say Bil LUX y.
