This note is coming to you from Charlie's wife. I am writing to let
you know that Charlie passed away this morning at 6:15 a.m. His last
morning was very pleasant and normal, but he felt tired. He sent me
to get something for him from the car and when I returned, he had
slipped away to the next world. He died a quiet death at home in his
bed. I believe he left peacefully without suffering and is in God's
hands.

Please know that your e-mails and correspondence meant the world to
Charlie. He loved reading your notes and responding to them. Thank
you for the many wonderful words and friendship you provided him.

I for one will certainly miss him.

Sincerely and regretfully,
Lornetta Hooks
