[Dixielandjazz] Cork reduction

The razor slicing method seems a bit risky.
Pro shops chuck the section in a bench motor or lathe and spin it at high 
speed. 
The cork is then cut and / or sanded as one would a wood post or spindle on a 
lathe. The chuck is available from Freree's and I have used it in a high 
speed drill with some sucess on clarinets and sax neck corks.

For fitting,  use sandpaper folded into 1X4" strips and held lightly wraped 
around the cork with one hand while turning the work with the other. Start with 
80 grit and finish with 150-200. 
BE CAREFUL WHEN FITTING BARREL NOT TO FORCE IT. 
Check FIT often so you dont over sand and get a sloppy fit. Use vaseline for 
lube and wipe up excess.
