The Jack Daniel Silver Cornet Band blew into town some years ago for a concert. They have an expanded brass section.. Played some of the hottest Dixieland I have heard. No reeds. Never thought I would appreciate a combo without a reed either- They did an outstanding job on Sacramento Jubilee complete with vocal. Sorry, licorice stick players! ted
