BTW, for all those who visit the Big Apple, the above venue is like those in
the Village of the 1950's. A very hip place and worth a trip to visit even
if you don't like hip places. And if you have never been to one, by all
means visit this one.
The band mentioned above backing the poetry on May 12 is a fantastic group
of very fine modern jazz musicians. "BITCHIN" as those of us who dig the
more modern sounds, and have heard them singly or together know.
Charlie, you brought back some wonderful memories of the Greenwich Village
this wannabe hip young man in those days had almost forgotten.
Oh my.
