[Dixielandjazz] Do records capture greatness?

I second that. 'That's A plenty' belts along. How about the 1936 version of
Tiger Rag by the ODJB or any of the Louis Hot Seven or the Rhythmakers. It
is possible to capture greatness on record, but more difficult to get an
atmosphere than on a live recording.
