When I worked at Disneyland, I was fortunate enough to work in the French
Market, where the FH5+2 played every Friday and Saturday night. I had
fallen in love with Probert's soprano sax sound from the Live at Disneyland
album ,and being able to hear it live each week was nirvana! Bob Murphy of
Natural Gas plays a Canal Street solo that is very close to George's. One
year at the Sacramento Jubilee, George refused to play Canal Street....all
he'd say was "Murphy's not here to take my solo..."
