Sorry Tom & others on the DJML.  Merimbula is a Town in Southern New South Wales, about half way between Melbourne & Sydney, Australia's two largest cities.  It's relatively close to Canberra, our nation's capital, so musicians of OKOM find it a great meeting place for old friends from all over.  Many bands made up from these assorted musicians may only get together once or twice a year, but the quality and enjoyment, not to mention the entertainment value to audiences is exceptional.  Big country that Australia is, OKOM is a happy family of friends & acquaintances from all over who need little persuasion to have a drink a chat & a laugh together.
