Some of you have seen earlier articles I wrote on this topic. The one 
below, titled "Jazz Radio and Jazz Education--Can't We be Friends?" for 
Jazz Educators Journal (IAJE) makes some of the same points, but I 
stressed the education angle here, for obvious reasons. A couple of
