Hello List-

Back around 1955 a grade B gangster movie was produced featuring Jack Webb
from the "Dragnet" TV series. I believe it was titled "Pete Kelly's Blues" and
included a hot Dixieland group called "Pete Kelly's Big 7." If memory serves
me right, Dick Cathart (sp?) was the cornetist for the group.. They also
made a 45 with four tunes from the movie, recorded by Capitol Records. I still
have that record-

Where can I find a video of the movie? I have searched all over for years,
visited the major rental franchises with no success. It is listed in their
catalogs, but when I order the flick it never arrives. I understand the movie
has become something of a cult classic-but where can a "lost in the fifties" fan
find a copy? Have all available copies been brought or banned?

Sure could use some help here. Saw that movie a dozen times back then, would
like to see it again.

  Tradjazz
