Conetist Dave Robinson, one of the guiding lights of the Capital Focus Jazz
Band (Great Youth Jazz Band) in the Washington D.C. area will be performing
with Barbone Street at Sydney's Jazz & Blues Restaurant in Rehoboth in
celebration of Louis Armstrong's Birthday Anniversary, August 5th and 6th.
Sydney's is well know as one of America's 100 best jazz night spots as well
as an excellent restaurant. It is THE PLACE TO BE in Rehoboth, especially on
this weekend event which has been enormously successful since 2000.

Dave an accomplished cornetist, music teacher/mentor and hard working member
of the Potomac River Jazz Club has agreed to sub for our usual suspect, Paul
Grant who is performing at the Showboat Casino that weekend.

Anybody within driving distance of Rehoboth might wish to fall by one or
both days to help us all celebrate Louis at one of the neatest events
around. You will be amazed at the audience's young age and great reaction to
the music as well as at how much fun every body has.

Several swing dancers from the Philadelphia area will also be attending.

And, we will also have a surprise guest, a DJML member, who will sit in for
a number or two on trombone alongside Glenn Dodson.

Come on by, if you can. You won't regret it.
