Times they be a changing Dick:

Maybe Randy got the Steady gig playing on the one horse carriage ride
through the town every day at noon. :))
Or maybe he bought the Horse and the town came with it. :))

Where I live in Lafayette, California used to be a Many Horse town and
lots of ranches, of rolling hills nowadays it is a few Horse, few cow
and even fewer chicken but many Automobile and motor home and SUV town.
:)) We too are about forty minutes from three airports that claim to
be International, and we only have one lake, but lots of good big fish.

It is al relevant of course to some OKOM guys a gig in the next county
is considered International :)) And in some places in California it
could quite possibly be since the language changes from English to
Spanish to Viet-nameese to Mandarin to Farsi to Arabic to Russian to
Greek to French to German to Japanese to Redneck etc, Hell you can
now go around the world in 80 minutes rather than 80 days and never
leave California. :)) Heck Bob Romans travels Internationally from
Lodi to SAN FRANCISCO TO PLAY WITH US FROM TIME TO TIME and that is
considered around these parts to be Inter Galactical, :))

Lucky Randy : ))

Cheers,

Tom Wiggins
On my way to China for Dinner be back in twenty minutes, :))

Good grief! When I lived in NY (until 1978), we had a summer place in
Saylorsburg at a tiny lake. It was at that time a real one-horse town.
If
it still is, I can't imagine a working musician like him living there:
it's a couple of hours from anywhere, and at least forty minutes from a
smallish airport (Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton, where an old buddy from
the
 lake is the general manager).

He must just be a country boy at heart!
