I am with Bob on this one!  The tradition of the music is the tradition of the music.    Play on!  Your clarinet player may feel squeamish, but tell him the tune will only last for a couple of minutes and it'll make somebody happy!  

In 25 years, I've never been yelled at or called a racist.  Anyone else ever suffered that fate?
