We play for "swing dancers" once or twice a week. Some are beginners and
some have won national championships.

120 to 150 bpm works for everyone. But good lindy hoppers will dance up to
260 bpm.

Balboa and Shag require 180 to 300 bpm. (Runnin Wild is a favorite)

East Coast Swing 120-200 bpm.

Charleston 180-280 bpm.

West Coast Swing .....I'm not sure, but they dance to much slower tempos.
(We rarely play for them)

The older dance crowd will come out on the dance floor at 90 to 120 bpm.
