It may be that if jazz musicians were ranked this way, Armstrong would be
#1, followed closely by Kenny G. :-) VBG.

Most of my U.S. slang has been frozen in time from basically the date I left
the U.S. 38 yrs ago.  If we use the slang version of "rank" the way I
remember it, we could easily say that Kenny G is rank.  No need for a
number!
