[Dixielandjazz] Interesting musical cuts

Just got the new Dr. John album - New Orleans, Dis, Dat N' D'Udder....two cuts, I think, particularly relate to the music discussed on this list.  Saints is presented as slow, funereal, and mournful; some wouldn't even recognize it if they'd only heard the upbeat version.  Next is a pure trad jazz version of Lay My Burden Down...absolutely great!  The CD is a salute to New Orleans, and has a wide variety of musical styles.  But those two cuts stand out to me!
