Dear Steve,
Mike Zwerin's commment about World War II music is not surprising because he 
wrote "Swing Under The Nazis" (Cooper Square Press, 2000), a book with some 
unusual revelations such as the"Luftwaffe pilot who listened to Glenn Miller 
while bombing London." He also wrote "Close Enough for Jazz. An 
Autobiography" (Quartet Books, 1983), another example of his readable prose.
