[Dixielandjazz] PROOF THAT ITALIANS INVENTED JAZZ

Actually the Italians invented jazz centuries before Buddy Bolden. It began
with a secret society, composed of Botticelli, Da Vinci, Victor Hugo, Isaac
Newton, Guiseppe Verdi and Don Corleone. The were judging a musical contest
called "Italiano Idolatry" wherein Jazza Bands from all over Italy came to
compete at the ruins of the Roman Amphitheater in Palermo. Circa 1789.

Tomaso Edisoni, a budding inventor, had constructed a crude device that made
a series of wire recordings of alla that jazza. These subsequently came into
the possession of an Italian Christian Rock Singer named Magdalene. (Really
a nice Jewish Girl who never converted, but revisionist historians
suppressed all that for 2 millennia) She turned them over to the keepers of
the Grail and they were sent to an obscure Monastery in France, and guarded
by Knights Templar for several hundred years. Then secretly moved to
Westminster Abbey just prior to WW 2 and buried beneath the floor in order
to prevent their destruction by the Anti-Jazz (Germans).

The recordings were recently exhumed and heard by a direct descendant of
Magdalene and her husband. (a much persecuted Jewish man) They were given to
an American writer, Dan Brown who published the entire story. His recent
book was a New York Times Best Seller (google search <Dan Brown + Book> for
the title) quite a while and conclusively proved that Italians invented
jazz, along with most other Good Music, and Art, as well as "The Art of
Love". (see Ovid)

The fact of their jazzy existence was passed down for centuries only to
members of this small secret society. It was not made known to the general
public for fear of the ridiculous reactions, and anti-Italian rants it would
generate among the great unwashed, the wannabe unwashed, and the Anti-Jazz.

Like some of those you used to read on the DJML. :-) VBG.

Martino and Barbone are making this information public via the DJML since we
now have every faith and belief that members of this list are among the most
intelligent and enlightened people in the Jazz World, and therefore able to
handle the truth.

Cheers,
Steve Barbone

PS. Who Invented Jazz? Does it matter? Obviously there is no one answer
because jazz is a complex musical form that melded musical ideas from
virtually every part of the globe and every segment of humanity. Including
American Indians. (a contribution not yet fully examined) It developed in
the USA because that's only place where humanity from around the globe
merged into a single people . . . Americans. So if a anybody invented jazz,
it was AMERICANS. . . . (PLURAL), with a little help from our friends.

PPS. For a more complete understanding of Satire, read Jonathan Swift's "A
Modest Proposal". http://art-bin.com/art/omodest.html Then contrast that
with his life long support for the Irish against their British oppressors.
