Dear Tom,
The only one to come immediately to mind is "Golfing Papa" by the great
Mamie Smith, accompanied by poss. Bill Dillard or Ward Pinkett, t; James
Archey, tb; Fred Skerritt, a; Henry Jones or Bingie Madison, ts; Gene
Rodgers, p; Goldie Lucas, bj; Richard Fullbright, sb; Bill Beason, d;
Recorded for Okeh in New York on 19 February 1931.
I have it, as will some other mouldy DJMLers.
It should not be too hard to transcribe it from the record.
Kind regards,
Bill.
[TD} Bill, you are always right there with the info. What a great tune and
it can be heard on www.redhotjazz.com
