Dan:  Your best bet for Pismo is Motel Six; I  scored a room there for a 
little over a hundred bucks  total for Friday and  Saturday nights, at 101 and 4th 
st., right smack dab in the middle of  ever'thang.  Convenient shuttle 
busses, run frequently.  Act  quickly.  Reservations online, just google Motel Six 
and scroll a  lot...
