Very true! Minka is a take-off of a Russian Folk song...in college I played 
Grand Russian Fantasia as a solo on band tours. In fact, several of my 
private students are currently working on it! No one plays it as fast as 
George Rock...also, it's Harry James "Concerto For Trumpet". If played 
right, it sounds like two trumpets!!
Another of Rock's tricks was to INHALE buzzing, making a distinct "hiccup". 
Like a loud kiss, backwards through the horn. I believe Clyde McCoy did the 
same trick on his "Sugar Blues".
