And in the "Who Cares" Department:  I've heard and spoken to Butch once,
too, although he'll never remember it.  He played at the Elkhart, IN
festival several years ago, and he played a tune by Jelly Roll Morton that
he didn't introduce the title of, so being the anal retentive person that I
am, I had to know, so I asked him afterwards.

Damned if I remember now what it was, though.

A small world indeed!!
I know you, on and off the 'list'. I've met, spoken to and listened to Butch
play when he was in Sydney, Australia some time ago and Freddie Fisher's son
'King" (Joseph) is an old friend of mine.
I've also met Turk Murphy (mentioned by Butch) a few times here in Oz and in
the US.
