Actually, what causes focal dystonia and why some people are affected and 
some aren't is not known.

There is no cure. It is well known that rest or varying playing frequency or 
methods has no affect on the affliction.

Actually, while many professional players acquire a focal dystonia, it is 
not know whether or not "over training" (or playing a lot) has anything to 
do at all with it. Again, the cause is unknown as is a cure.
