While not 100% OKOM, NPR has been running a series about aging jazz
musicians and the problems many of them face. For those who may be
interested in an overview, visit the below web sites. The problem exists for
all genres of jazz.

It is not fun when an older jazz musician has no retirement funds and is
unable to perform. How quickly they are forgotten.
