[Dixielandjazz] Joe Yukl special trombone

The multi-mention of Joe Yukl in a current digest made me
remember the first new trombone I ever bought. I was at 
or near the very beginning of my involvement with the trombone
and still in Wash. D.C.(Early 50's)
 
I went to Kitt's music store, I think it was on 'H' St. N.W., and 
when I saw the name "Joe Yukl" on the model of Conn trombone
I was shown, I went for it. To get to the point- a few days later
the brace on the bell section came apart. I was devastated to say 
the very least. The horn got repaired but I don't think I kept it very 
long. I can't count all the horns I have owned since that one. Too many!
Anyway!
