Speculation...
I loved a lot of it too, but I still maintain that there were too many notes
sometimes! Bobby Hackett? What would he say? There was a great musician who
could say SO much with just a few notes...well placed.
I would be interested in asking the whole list, who, among all of the great
cornet/clarinet/trombone/piano players, put the most FEELING into their
solos, with the fewest number of notes????
