[Dixielandjazz] leaders and bass amps

Hi Vache, Sr, from another very senior bass thumper.  You know of course, 
that the drummer will say he only plays heavier because of the bass amp.  I 
have to say that I really appreciate working with a good drummer, and I 
really don't like working without one.  Some day I am going to make record a 
CD with just bass and drums.  I don't plan to press more than a dozen, and 
that should leave me with at least 10 to put in my garage.
       Seriously, I do like drums, and I would trade two horn players for a 
really good drummer any day.
