Hi guys,

We do play lots of charts with my band. It does not mean that we do not
improvise and it does not mean that our eyes are glued to the music. I force
my musicians to learn almost everything by heart and I arrange a few
choruses (sometimes very difficult ones), nice vamps or endings but the
solos and most of the tuttis are freely improvised. Arrangements give a
special sound to any band. Of course, you gotta make your OWN arrangements,
do not use many charts written by others. Those on the list who have heard
us play (Bob Ringwald, Brian Towers etc.) probably know what I mean.
