"Highlights in Jazz" Presents the Statesmen of Jazz Thursday November 4th
8PM Tribeca Performing Arts Center

Jack Kleinsinger, producer of "Highlights in Jazz," New York's longest
running series of all time, is bringing together a truly all-star
aggregation of living jazz legends, the Statesmen of Jazz, on Thursday,
November 4th at 8 PM.

These seven musicians whose careers span decades have appeared with all the
greats i.e. Ellington, Basie, and Goodman. The band consists of trumpeters
Joe Wilder (now in his 80¹s) and Warren Vache; guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli,
who is one of the most in-demand musicians in jazz today; Derek Smith, one
the most acclaimed pianists on the current music scene; veteran bassist Earl
May and drummer Eddie Locke. Also on hand is the popular saxophonist Bob
Kindred who is a co-creator of the acclaimed Christmas presentation, "Jazz
Nativity."

NOTE: The Statesmen of Jazz, Inc. is entirely self-supporting.

This concert should be a must for true jazz aficionados, as this outstanding
group of musicians will be appearing together for the only time this season.
