Oh dear!
We met David French several times in the company of discographer Laurie
Wright (Storyville Publications) when we were on holiday in England a few
years back.
A wonderful young man, who certainly knew his old jazz records.
We corresponded too infrequently. Now he is gone.
A great loss.
The Frog label ( 55 CD reissues, remastered by the late John RT Davies) has
been a great contribution to classic jazz collections.
I have them all, except the latest one (Earl Hines).
