Haven't been in on all te listings on this subject, so maybe I am being
redundant.
Can recall a circa 1941 Woody Herman Band version of Fuer Elise
(Beethoven), and a great Columbia Album of Les Brown's Band doing a
number of great arrangements of the Classics.  Can recall
"Peter Was A Wolf" (Prokofiev) "Evening Star" (Wagner) some Schubert and
Chopin, too.  Great stuff.
