I'm late to this thread.  November 1 always brings out my holiday CDs.
Right now, the Tom Kubis big band is playing A Jazz Musician's Christmas,
with vocal by Jack Sheldon.  (Also the title of the album)  Great CD, and I
particularly like the modified lyrics to The Twelve Days of Christmas (my
agent gave to me).  For background music, the Oscar Peterson Christmas album
is marvelous!
