As an (ahem) somewhat younger member of this list, I would like to note that
I've been a big fan of Bryan Ferry ever since his Roxy Music days and am
thrilled to hear he's doing some "retro" stuff. I'll probably go out and buy
it - he's very talented.

It also might behoove some struggling festival promoters to try to book Mr.
Ferry (although he's probably way too expensive) if they would like to
encourage a younger audience to attend and get turned on to OKOM. He might
not be solid OKOM, but if it's close enough to not piss off the usual crowd,
and brings in a few newbies who in turn bring a few of their friends to the
next festival, etc., it might go a long way to rebuilding our slowly
dwindling audiences and keep OKOM alive beyond our generation.

Just a thought.

 Beth
