Hello, Steve-- I have good reason to remember that band at Nick's. I was thrilled when Davison asked me to join it, but I wasn't a member of 802--all powerful in those days. The trombone player? A great pioneer jazzman, overlooked and underrated, anda nice guy, George (Georg) Brunies (Brunis). Best-- Warren
