[Dixielandjazz] JAM BANDS NIGHT

While I am not up on all of the "Jam Bands" I do try to keep up with 
the news. I  have met a few of the folks involved with Galactic - their 
roots in New Orleans music go way back - there is a interview with the 
drummer at <http://www.jambands.com/may99/features/moore.html>

Another really good band to look for is "Soulive" - while they are not 
at the center of the " jam thing" they are often categorized with that 
style of music. Not OKOM but it is still mighty fine groovin' jazz.
