Hello Jerry,

I have the original recording of the Dukes at Disneyland in 1962, and this
is my favorite Dixieland recording ever. Although most of the tunes are the
same tempo, but the band is exciting and really swings, 'A Great Band' IMO
the best ever.

Dukes at Disneyland in 1962:- Frank Assunto - trumpet; Fred Assunto -
trombone; Papa Jac Assunto - trombone, and Banjo on some tracks; Jerry
Fuller - clarinet; Gene Schroeder - piano; Herb Ellis - guitar; Bob Casey
Bass; Charlie Lodice drums.

Another recording of the band I really enjoyed, but not as much was The
Dukes Breaking up Broadway. Same band although they had Jim Hall on guitar.
I lost that recording somehow.

My other all time favorite recording is Kenny Ball's band playing playing
High Society on the Midnight in Moscow album, with Dave Jones on Clarinet. I
finally met Dave in Sacramento about a year before he passed away, we ( The
South Market Street Jazz Band ) played a set before a band he was in came
on. It was so sad that he was ill.
