[Dixielandjazz] CD label printing

John Mumford said something which aroused my interest :

" John,

 There is now an affordable printer that will print directly on to the CD.
 Its an Epson R300 and it sells for $179.  It is so new that its hard to
find

I visited the site but it does not explain  if special CD-Rs are required -
will this gadget work with the regular variety? If not, is a mortgage
required to purchase compatible disks?
