It looks like being a quiet weekend in Melbourne this weekend unless you 
stick your head out the window and catch the sounds of the Formula One 
Grand Prix. The Jazz Club is not open on Saturday night - see 
http://www.victorianjazzclub.com/. Unless you like the sound of high 
revving engines, leave early and join the expected huge exodus to 
country Victoria. I'll be in Moe at the annual Jazz festival - 
http://www.moe.latrobe.net.au/jazz/index.html and hope to catch up with 
any fellow DJMLlers such as Bob Pattie (Creole Bells) and Greg Simmonds 
(Wonderdogs) for a sherbet. The lineup is good again this year and 
includes regular working bands from Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra.
