If you ever get the chance, listen to Paul Keller.  He usually comes to
Sacramento with Tommy Saunders.  He also frequently works with Diana Krall.

Paul is my favorite bass player around today.  Incredible technique, taste,
ideas, time, etc.  He has it all.
