LIONEL FERBOS DAY: While most human beings aren't even breathing at 93, New 
Orleans trumpeter Lionel Ferbos has attained that age and still performs music 
on a weekly basis. The City of New Orleans will officially honor its oldest 
active musician in tomorrow's City Council Meeting by proclaiming Saturday, July 
17, "Lionel Ferbos Day." On Saturday evening, the eternally dapper Ferbos 
will be blowing at Snug Harbor, surrounded by family, friends and admirers. Happy 
Birthday, Lionel!
