[Dixielandjazz] NYC jazz - (was: Nighthawks???)

Vince Giordano's Nighthaks were at the Cajun when I saw them there last
year, but it seems I heard a rumor somewhere (from Dan Levinson?) that
they no longer have that gig. However, Dave Ostwald's "Louis Armstrong
Centennial Band" is at Birdland (315 W 44th St, 212-581-3080) every
Tuesday from 5:30-7:30 PM.

If Dan Levinson's paying attention, I'm sure he can tell you what's
happening in the Big Apple. Even Steve Barbone has his ear on the NYC
scene.
