In response to Anton's suggestion for a new thread, and in alphabetical
order, here's a hastily-assembled "Jazz Bestiary": can anyone fill in the
gaps? (We sometimes play this game in the band bus on long trips - you can
do it with place-names, trees and flowers, girls' names or whatever)

Alligator Crawl (Hot Seven)
Big Bear Stomp (Watters)
Chicken Rhythm (Slim Gaillard)
Dromedary (California Ramblers - I've got this one!)
Elephant Stomp (Bechet)
Froggie Moore Rag (Morton)
'Gator Wobble (Memphis Jug Band)
Hen Party Blues (Dodds/Dixieland Jug Blowers)
I ???
Jackass Blues (King Oliver)
K???
La Cucaracha (Louis)
Muskrat Ramble (Everybody!)
Nashville Nightingale (Red Nichols0
Ostrich Walk (Bix)
Pig Ankle Strut (Cannon's Jug Stompers)
Q???
Robins and Roses (Jimmy Dorsey)
Sage Hen Strut (Watters again)
Tiger Rag (Everybody!)
Ultrafox (Django: this may be cheating....dance, not animal)
Viper's Dream (Fats Waller)
Wild Cat Blues (Clarence Williams' Blue Five)
X????
Yellow Dog Blues
Z???

Good luck!

Mike.
